Well, I spent the last 3 days putting my motor back together and putting it in, and alas it will not start, or even sputter for that matter. We got done about midnight last night, so we did not have much time to test things out. I did check for spark and am getting it. I am thinking it might be fuel related. I have a half tank of gas. On my last motor, I could feel the injectors pulsing, but I could not feel them last night. I am getting pressure to the rail.
It is a JDM motor, head machined, Titan MHG. I used my old harness that was working before.

I worked with the CPS for a while, and had problems with another CPS on the other motor, this is the CPS that came with the JDM. Nothing not even a sputter. I was thinking of using my old CPS.
90T is the year of the car.
what would cause the injectors not to fire off?

P.S. I am not getting any codes.

Have you checked the efi fuse? That's really all I can think of because I'm not a mechanical genius, more like an idiot, but I wish you the best. Good luck, and keep us posted as to how it runs when you get it fixed.

mabye it's your injector resisitor. Im currntly doing a swap on my 91na to turbo and I bought a jdm engine to and the injector resitor was something I didnt have so whenever I went to crank my car all it would do is mabye turnover one time and then you would smell gas like its everywhere but what you should do is get some starter fluid spray some into your 3000 pipe and then reconect your piping try turning it over and if it turns over with the gurgaling noise then thats a good sign and it also means your cars not getting fuel or insufficent fuel but other than that I'm not sure the cps sensor can cause your car not to crank but other than that check the efi fuse and thats all I can think of good luck I hope this helps or you figure it out test your grounds as well goodluck again

I got it started. It was an idiot grounding issue. I got the CPS on correct, which leads me to another problem, go figure. It seems as if the #1 cylinder has a problem. I know these JDM's have been sitting for a while, and might take a second for everything to get working smoothly again, but.... It is not a good noise.. It sounds like a pretty bad knocking.. I am going to seriously drive this thing off a cliff(too bad there aren't any in florida).

Whooo Hooo!!! I don't have a rod knock!! I found out that sometime during transit, they rested the block on the front of the oil pan. This caused the bottom front of the pan to become pushed in. The #1 was hitting it. The bad part was having to disco a bunch of piping to get the motor high enough to pull the pan off. Let me tell you, that was a bitch and a half. We stil have to get the motor back in the mounts, reconnect the piping, and driveline work. Hopefully I'll be driving it to work on monday!!!

is there a diagram or thread or anything stating where the grounds need to be? ive checked with no luck. im only asking because my jdm isnt working and im wondering if that maybe it

#1 the gound for the starter to the motor was loose, and the tan colored group of wires below the intake was not gounded to the intake, that is what was causing the problem. I looked in the TSRM for information, and got even more confused. I recommend just going over the entire motor for gounding issues. You can pretty much tell where things are supposed to connect.

Thanks. Once I get this shift linkage adjusted, I will be a happy camper. The Motor is so quiet and smooth that I can hear the injectors pulsing. It is a beautiful thing. Even when my other motor was running, it never sounded this good.
