What about silicone caps, how hard are those to find? The silicone lines I've used for vacuum/washer fluid/anything else I could at the time on my car have held up quite nicely over nearly 3 years of daily driving. Now, the few rubber lines on the other hand...

Yes, cause changing one on the front of the engine is so much harder than changing one at the back of the engine (i.e. the cap on the pre-89 7M's)

I always thought it was best to loop those heater lines if you don't use them, rather than cap them?

But yeah... F that pipe on the rear of the 7m head. Was SO grateful for the redesign on the 1j when I got to looking at it when I got mine...
