I bought the Supra back in 2006 from Proto Motoring in Riverside, CA with 120,000k miles. It was a partial trade for 1400 cash and a s13 hatchback with a BHG. They were nice enough to pick up the s13 at my girlfriend house in Thermal Ca and then , they drove to Escondido, CA , and delivered the Supra. I drove it automatic for a few months, until I was able to afford a r154 swap. My lack of knowledge. took me to push the car to 16 psi on the stock Ct26 with no fuel supporting mods as a result , The 7mgte took a shiet.

The car was taken to the incorrect shop.. and my 7m was running really rough. I was not able to run my new motor past 3k rpm´s. It had 2MM cometic gasket,0.20 oversized pistons,0.30 resufaced crank, new rings, bearings. I had enought of the supra so, the car sat for almost 4 years...

I started to look some info in regards the 2JZGE SWAP, so I sold my 7mgte to get a 2JZGE. My buddi Adrian and I , started to plan the swap and a few weekends later it started to really happen.

the car is back to auto.. just for a few months.. untill I can afford a 350z 6 speed trans to mate to the 2jzge block with an adapter plate. Just to keep it reliable it will stay NA for a while. I have to buy more turbo parts. So far I bought a pretty decent intercooler, apexi AFC, hks turbo timer, cx racing T4 turbo manifold, Garret GT35 65 Ar/ 82 ex. Btw, the car already had a 3inch exaust and intake... so I will re use them.
