There are only a few differences between these two cars. Here is a small list of mods for comparison.

Camera Car:
Stock 7M w/160k Miles
.70 AR JT62
Stock Ex Mani
550's
Wally
Fidanza FW

White Car:
Stock Bore Block w/Balanced Internals, Total Seal Rings, ~10k Miles
P&P Head
.70 AR T4
Tubular Mani
550's
Wally
Stock FW

1st Run:
Both Cars in 4th and both @ 12 psi.
The ol JT just didn't want to spool... ;)

2nd Run:
Both Cars in 3rd and both @ 12 psi.

3rd Run:
Camera Car in 3rd @ 16psi
White Car in 3rd @ 14psi
You can see that P&P really working up top!

4th Run:
Repeat of 3rd except the camera was a little quick on the throttle.

Enjoy! :)

Nice runs..has that white supra been dyno'd?

Not yet. The tune needs to be worked on a bit. We'll get him there though. :)

Coolies. I suppose the white car had top-end on his favor

Yeah, a couple things in his favor. Fresh motor and head work... I loved seeing the headwork working up top. :)

All I know about the turbo is that it's a T4 .70 and it's an eBay China model. He paid $350 for it if I remember right.

We started at 60-65 each time. Which put my car at ~3500 rpm.

Yep, GoPro. Great video; but, poor audio. ;)

Kenny, if you buddy gets a PT 6765, that car will be way more dangerous. A 6262 would be good but with a larger AR, probably a .81.

I would say a PT 6765 with the billet wheel would be a good choice for that car.

Nice pulls!

After seeing where that car makes power, I'm not sure that I want to invest in Headwork. Don't get me wrong, the benefits are obvious; but, if the real difference is only from 4th gear on, it wouldn't get used a lot. I rarely take the car up that high...

My plan was to have a 3 angle valve job, port & polish, with BC 272's. I'm starting to re-think that...

Any input?

In other words, you are old and drive slow. :D

272 seems really aggressive, what lift are they? 264 would suit you a lot more Kenny as it does make power on the lower end but once again, it's all about lift.

Hey Kenny, what happened to that motor you found under a tarp with gold in it?

Proof of my driving is in the vid Andy! :biglaugh:

Lift is 8.68/8.68mm I believe. To be honest, they're still in the box, and I haven't looked at them in a while.

The gold in that motor is currently getting polished. :D

If you want, you could port and polish, three angle valve job and cams if you like the top end side of things.

Other than that, in all seriousness, if you don't take the car that high, you wouldn't care for it, especially 272's, those cams are mainly top end....

Been there with my 20g. 3200 rpm was tire spin and sideways. I like where the JT62 comes on. It's a little more street friendly.

Once again, I have to translate.

The above post meant Kenny was shitting his pants EVERYTIME he drove his Supra.
