I saw some pictures of one a very long time ago. I used to work for Volvo, and have seen all sorts of crap stuffed under the hood of Volvo 240's/740's.

What is the point? I thought Volvo's were cherished for their reliability? Doesn't throwing a 7M in there defeat the purpose?

No, there were no 7m's in the videos. I have heard of the swap and saw pictures some time ago. The fact that you see 1j and 2j's should indicate that a 7m would be along the same lines.
The 240's and 740's (hell, the 940's if you want be funny) all have quite a bit of room for creative swaps. There have actually been a surprisingly large number of v8 swaps into 240's. Be careful if you see grandma's car - it might be a little more powerful than you think!
