I would like to know what is the best stand alone for the 7m-gte. I would like to have full adjustable ecu that i program each and everyhting ( I do not want something that plugs into the stock [ecu] I want something with a small base map { possibly no map } but pages and references to them.

If you know what system would work well or links to them let me know thanks.

I know we answered this in the standalone sub-forum. The questions that me and turbojoe presented STAND.

Again, your question is VAGUE and basically includes every single standalone out there from the inexpensive megasquirt all the way to the profesional Bosch MS 4.1 series racing ECU's.

Besides AEM. There is no such thisn as a BASEMAP. Judging by your question you should not be screwing around with ANY piggy back much less standalone.

The first order of business that YOU need to take care off.

Attend a class from efi101.com and also read books upon books on this stuff.

I am learning how EFi and ECU's work right now, pretty much what I am getting is they work off small voltages depending on what system it is powering, and the sensors it uses send signals, back.

I am also look up the maps they use a 2- diget binary code, which most Ecu's use, some computer can use 10-bit, but cars use 2-bit maps mostly. Like I said I am trying to learn.

umm

no.

You really need to take a class. I am dead serious.

As for most ems, most system operate on a 16 bit to 32 bit code. 2 bit binary? umm Do you understand the binary system at all?

Add to needed classes basic computers where they will cover binary system.
