Firstly, thanks for uploading pics of this.

However I am rather curious in the difference between the Group A CT26 and Turbo A CT26, that is if they are not the same ?

I own a Turbo A and by the looks of it, the turbo's are exactly the same, except the exhaust housing is rusty on mine, and have the same part number 42020. The only difference I recognise is that yours is missing the stamped "E" on the intake side.

Is there anyone out there that can confirm differences between Group A and Turbo A ?

I have a Turbo A supra, but when I bought it off the previous owner he had unknowingly swapped the turbo for standard ct26 as it was smoking, sigh, there is no helping some people.

Anyway has anyone even heard of a Turbo A ct26 for sale as I would like to restore my car back to its Turbo A glory.

My understanding is the TurboA road cars ran the garden variety CT26, nothing "special" about it at all, the GroupA Race cars were a very different beast as in Jon's pics above.

It is a different part number in the Toyota parts catalog, and there are a few visual comparisons from people who have pulled them off the Turbo A road cars, Turbo A cars also dyno bigger numbers than a standard CT26 could put out.

As always I'm happy to be proven wrong as I don't like to spread incorrect information.
(turns out only the inducer size changed, turbine is the same so only 25>35 extra HP)
