Let me give you a simple example, if there is no temperature difference measured, i.e. 0C, then what value would you expect it to be in Fahrenheit? Use you calculator and see what you get, then ask yourself if it makes sense.

Basically if my car runs at 87*c at idle and 93*c at highway cruising, I'm seeing a delta (change) of 6*c. Wich is only 10*f not 42*f

I have one... bought it new at Toyota for $90-110. Good investment. ;)

That said, make the use of the air going into your car more efficient before you start worrying about the fan situation, IF your fan is already in good shape, leave it be. Like I said (might have been in another thread), your temps are normal for a JZ.
