2jzge question

Ok so i recently bought a 2jzge and i wanted to kno the correct compression ratio. Ive read tht its 10.5:1 more or less and ive also read tht its 9.1:1 more or less. Im goin to go NA-T and im going with a 1.3mm hg. Any help would be great. Thanks

Its 10.5:1. Id get a 2mm hg to drop it down some. Somewhere around 9:1 would be better.

can i get away with doing 2jzgte pistons and a hg?

If you use gte pistons then just use a tt headgasket. HAve to make sure the pistons are the right size for the bore tho.

OR just use a 2mm hg and tune good.

Yea thts the route im going, im just gona go with a 2mm hg and the good tune. already have a megasquirt tht im using for my setup. Thanks

Just use a stock 1JZ or 2JGTE head gasket and keep the GE pistons.

A 2mm head gasket lowers the compression into the lower 8's. Any GTE head gasket brings it to 9:1 or so.
