How does your oil and coolant look? I'd try cutting apart your filter to look for metal particles.

well I found out my exhaust cam broke after the third lobe

Snap that sucks big time. Any idea why it broke?

Only thing I can think that can cause a cam to snap are: weakness in the cam at point of breakage, warped cam, cam knocking on part of the head (associated with warpage).

MAybe it was was not secured back down in the proper sequencce? Dirty cam journals can cause it to jam up and break as well. Seen that happen on a sc300.
