My question is will a 255 intank pump be too much for the stock regulator and stock injector or will make it run bad?

I'm running a Walbro 255. Stock injectors, Stock regulator. I can boost to 13 psi... i hite fuel cut around 14 psi.

The J-tube is not bypassed.

I get the occational backfire. Never see any black smoke. Been running the same spark plugs for 20k miles on my rebuilt motor. She still runs strong.

it's possible, but it totally depends on the car. the best thing to do is slap it in and find out. FWIW, i sell walbros as well...

personally, i had a walbro overpower my stock FPR....
