I was wondering if its possible to run two afm's on one car into one intake pipe. Basically two seperate intake filters and afm's going into one. It's on an n/a and its a way to flow more air. Flame rag do whatever im just wondering if it would work or be possible at all. Thanks all

In a word, no. :biglaugh: Most people just put on a really large high quality filter to get better airflow. Otherwise: forced induction ftw!!!

no, because the ecu would not recognize two kv inputs. There is no way to run the electronics so that your computer would understand.

you can only flow as much as the head and intake manifold can breath, so really an air filter helps but the intake manifold and head will be the biggest bottle neck.

Turbo FTW.

This is the correct answer. The ECU program would need to be written to understand it.

Well... technically, if you dumped the stock ECU and bought a good aftermarket standalone ECU, then did a whackload of custom coding, then another whackload of custom tuning, you would be several thousand $$$ in the hole and it would probably work.

You could turbo it for half the price and a third of the effort, though, and you'd get much more airflow.

anything is possible to do in an engine bay, its just the things that seem impossible, cost way more money to complete, and often are not worth the extra effort or cost.

If you go ahead and get this all done and spend tons of money and time i will call you one crazy pioneer. However, the need for having two inlets isnt relivent to this car, especially one not pushing massive hp numbers.
