umm 100+mm is too big for even 900 rwhp.

pass on it. And anyway if you are going to do a different TB. Minus well try to fit a 87-92 5.0 Mustang TB instead.

ya i thought 100mm was too big... i emailed the people and they said they have an 80mm and a 90mm that is available as well. both allow the 7mgte TPS to bolt right up with no issues so I think I'm gonna go with the 80mm one... i talked them down to $250 shipped from japan :)

i was going to wait for ron ramirez to make me one, but he's out of commmission indefinately it seems, so i'm going to have sethron make me one instead.... sending him my core today, and i'm having that throttle body shipped to him directly. the people in japan selling the TB are going to provide it just polished, no powdercoat... so when I get my FFIM and TB from sethron I'm going to have both highly polished and chromed.

edit : oh ya and he's making me some hybrid long/short runner model... one with long runners with a larger tapered plenum like the short runner version. so it will clear the AC and alternator still without any problems and still look good / flow well... that's the goal :)

You can go to just about any junkyard and find an oldsmobile V8 and get the throttle from it. It's about 95mm. Cost you less then $20.
Jaguar V8, 76mm - $20

With a non-linear (or maybe "exponential", i'm not sure what the proper term is) linkage it wouldn't be too big to be drivable. It would be pointless if the IC pipes or something are a bigger bottleneck, but not too sensitive.
Does anyone know of any big TB's that came with that style of linkage on other cars?
Actually, you could probobly adapt the linkage from an M10 in a bmw to work on a big TB of your choice...

Is this too big for daily driving usage?

I know the Q45 is 90mm and that can be slight overkill for 400 daily hp correct? My goals are 700+hp but realistically it will hardly ever be turned up more then 400 daily and I don't want the car to run and idle poorly. What do you guys think?

I have this same 100mm TB on my car. Very high quality and they make an adapter for any tps. for the 2J it uses the 2j traction control tps which turns the opposite direction of the TB tps ( same as 7M).
