10.5" Rears?? How bout 9.5" Fronts?? Advice needed

Hi All,


Looking at a set of rims, unfortunately I can't test fit them before I buy them, Just need some feedback from people who either have this setup or have tried it.

Front 18x9.5 +41 offset
Rear 18x10.5 +41 offset

I found a couple of other threads on this topic, but nothing concrete.

I thought I remembered Doctor Jones putting 10" on the front with no issues, but I checked his site and found nothing. Might have been someone else.

I have 10" in front. Only thing is mine have ET14.

How tight? Do you scrape your mud gaurds over bumps at speed?

What have you got on the rear?

I rolled the fronts a little so it doesn't rub there but now and again on a BIG hit it'll run the inner plastic if the wheels aren't straight.

Same rims on the rear but with 285/35's.

We have the same size rims but my front tires are 245s IJ.

Ant: I ran 255's on em last year but wanted a touch more rubber as the Falkens seem undersized compared to other brands (my 285's don't bulge at all on the rears)

Guys to fit the 275 / 285's etc.. is there any cutting involved inside the wheel well?

Not on the rear. It pretty much depends on the wheel and what offset you have. The mkiv tt rear wheel inside is pretty close to the bottom of the strut.

Vas: On the rims I use all you need to do is to trim the mold slightly

Do you know who's car the second one is?

It's a local car for sale in Denmark.

It's a 2.5 TT with HKS motor and 450 BHP.

The wheels are Brock B1 as far as I can see.
