i have the opposite effect...when i turn my car off mine stays on for a while. i was quite confused at first, since i dont even use AC.

just make sure you have AAA, and drive it till it goes...unless you want an excuse to start your 1JZ project early.

no suggestions for tuning, but +1 to the intercooler...you will be suprised how much of a difference it will make. had a 1JZ sc300 and was astounded by the comparison.

also do your reasearch on the turbo itself...find out what your hp goals and budget are. i would also recommend upgrading all your necessary parts BEFORE you get the turbo.

just did the same thing a while back in my 97 240...totally ruined my carbon hood. nice job on fixing it back up!

for winter tires, go with a higher profile and less width. skinnier tires are better for bad weather. as for the rub, see if you can get under there and determine exactly where it is rubbing to figure out how to fix it.
