That’s good to know. I was thinking of taking out my heater core on my parts car but even with the dash out its being a bit of a pain to remove. How hard is it to get to this servo? Is it actually inside the box? If so then that will be a real pain to get to on my car.

I want it to be open all the time so I can test the problem. I have another valve as well incase this one was bad. Since coolant is now passing threw it all the time, I know it’s not the issue. I’ve tried searching this topic but can’t find anything with my symptoms. My heat doesn’t work till I his the gas peddle. If it’s idling it will just blow cold. When I pulled the motor on my parts car a few weeks ago it came off the mounts just fine. It was a dang ground cable that I couldn’t see that got me hung up. I couldn’t believe how much tension one of those cables could handle.

I think you will find lots of love for both types. I have had both personally. I prefer my Targa to the HT but that’s just me. I love taking that top out on a sunny day. Since I don’t race mine I’m not concerned about the weight or body flex issues associated wit the Targa.
