Is it just blowing cold air? My heater worked fine a while ago then stopped now works so on and so forth. I think we have the same problem.

Is the starter turning or is it just dead? If it’s turning it could be some kind of hot soak/vapor lock problem. My 87 does that from time to time. If it is dead I would try looking at the neutral start switch or the transmission linkage. Is it an automatic?

I just pulled a set of my parts car. The pads actually fell off the shoes when I pulled the rotors off. I get the feeling these things get overlooked during routine brake maintenance quite often.

Can you have them relined? I do that a lot with my 50's cars. Has anyone ever tried that?

Put a new thermostat in it while you’re at it. If that doesn’t work and you have burped it and put a new cap on it the last thing it could be is a clogged radiator. After that you’re looking at a head gasket.

That’s the first thing I checked and she is full. Could it be the throttle positioning sensor? I saw a yellow paint marker mark on mine which tells me it’s more than likely used.
