Does the Tanabe Touring Exhaust work with GE / NA cars?

Thank you so much. I'll get on it, hopefully also post a video of the resulting noise. Hopefully its not an annoying drone, i like the quiet but loud sound. In the name of science ! Thanks again for your insight, as you can see, i'm clueless.

Does the Tanabe Touring Exhaust work with GE / NA cars?

I think I understand. Basically put something after my cat to to go from 2.5 in to 3in than that plugs into the two mufflers of the Tanabe Picture of the two mufflers. I'm guessing this is a pretty straight forward job for any exhaust shop?

Does the Tanabe Touring Exhaust work with GE / NA cars?

Thank you for the responses. So from the sounds of it, its not a straight forward bolt-it-on type job. It would require someone to make pretty much the entire piping? I.e. pretty much make the entire frikking thing except use their resonator? God damn it, why do the turbos get to have all the...

Does the Tanabe Touring Exhaust work with GE / NA cars?

Hi all, I like the way the Tanabe Medallion Touring sounds, however based on having a look at the manufacturer's site (LINK), I'm getting the impression it is only for GTE and not GE cars. I drive a 86.5 7M GE. I can't imagine why they would put the note "Turbo" besides it, unless its for...

Is this BHG or am I in denial?

Hi all, (If this should be in the technical engine section, feel free to move it, but I didn't think it met the merits of being technical by the standards of people on SM). I have an 86.5 NA 7M with an engine that was put in from a 90 or 92 (again 7M GE). The both of them having 225,000 km on...

    Charging system problems

This page should help, and the page before, http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TEWD/MK3/manual.aspx?S=Main&P=43 I would have also thought it's the alternator, but you've replaced it and the voltage seemed to have come up. So it's tougher to say now. It might seem to be a stab in the...

To jack up the supra... (Need Help )

I'm suprised at the how there is a spread of where people think (and are) jacking their car up. Might be a topic where some reference may be of use. I've always just used what i found in the TSRM, though i have yet to understand exactly what they mean by 'support of differential carrier'.

whats the worst from crossing the battery terminals

I did that on the supra. I blew the fusable link that ran between the alternator and the battery, and i fried the alternator (which based on how alternators are made, unless his is protector with a fuse somewhere, it probably is fried on his car too). I could tell that mine was blown because...

Project Cherry Widebody, finished! (New pics on post #451 and #511)

Damn exam got in the way that weekend, i have a feeling it looks 10x nicer in the sun in person than any picture. Especially when the paint is in mint condition. (i see you've been driving it on gravel, noooo)

    damn this wire! (HELP!)

Clearly some pretty knowledgable people have chimed in here, so its not necessary for me to even try to talk sophisticated, so i just did it the layman's way and had a look at my car. I have a similar wire that comes from a bundle of wires underneath the fusebox, and it connects to the positive...

SS line installation and rotor installation

I am replacing the stock rotors with powerslots, pads with xbg low semi-met, the rubber line with Goodridge SS line, and i will be getting new/rebuilt rear calipers. I tried the search, but couldn't really find satisfactory answers. 1) Installing the front SS brake lines, i can't remove the...

    TOP GEAR Season 11

There definitely is a bias, which can be expected as half the show is their jokes and such, so obviously the commentary needs to be potent. But keep in mind, they do also tend to humourously make fun of other European countries, and they tend to favour english cars. Like when they compare an...

    Dual 12" Tire well enclosure.

I guess its probably not bad if you're in/around the city most of the time. I do most of my traveling using public transit, so in the case of traveling with the car I often find myself far away from civilization. I really must find a way to hang on to my spare tire, god damn thieves.

This may come off as a stupid question, but what do you guys do in terms of storage of the spare tire?
