Well, I finally put it all back together and it was lookin' good. I was pretty confident it would start good after I learned of the coolant hose I forgot to hook up :nono: ..... I went to crank it and it wouldn't turn. My buddy and I checked the spark, it was good, and the fuel was running...

My manuel say to torque down the head to 58lbs of torque for normal OEM bolts. Just bought the ARP bolts...are the torque specs the same?

I was told you can't re-use the old head bolts after taking them off. I was wondering if this is true, and if it is where can i get new ones? All the auto stores I called said they can't get them.

Does anyone know the name or part number for the hose that goes from the intercooler to the turbo, made of silicon? No luck anywhere I've gone to get a new one.

Well, I removed the turbo and exhaust side finally. I was wondering how do I go about removing the cam gears, do I have to remove the crankshaft for the head gasket too? What are ARP studs in relation to the head? Thanks to everyone that has helped me to this point your knowledge is helpful.

Okay so far I removed the bolts from the exhaust elbow to turbo, the nuts from the turbo to manifold, all hoses, the line that goes to the engine with the bolt with a hole in it, the stays, and one nut off the big oil line from engine to turbo. I can't get the other one off. From where I'm at...

Well, we checked it out but it looks like I need some special tools to do this operation. Could someone give me a quick run down with what tools to accomplish the task. I would rather hear it from the pros then the book, since you guys make more sense. Thanks.

Well, I'm very excited about my head gasket blowing because I was bored with nothing to do...note the sarcasm..Any good sugestions on the exhaust manifold/turbo removal, that looked like the biggest pain I could see.:aigo:

Been going down the list of why my Supra won't start and I'm at my coil-overs. There is no continuity going through them on a test when I crank. My plugs were horrible and I replaced them, my fuel pump is working, but when it cranks vapors emit slowly from the tail pipe which leads me to believe...

Just curious....never had a turbo before. When putting down the pedal on the freeway and turbo kicks in is it normal for the large white smoke puff out the back?

I've narrowed down the nice drips coming from under my car to possibly the oil pan leaking. How hard is it to change out? I'm getting tired of dry sweeping the black spots everyday, some is okay but as many as this drips it's a pain. :nono:

I removed the lights through the plate up front. There is the wire going to the bulb itself, should the bulb just pull out like the others? I'm trying not to shatter it while pulling, but it's being stubborn.
