im sure most of you know what im talking about, the washers that are inbetween the springs and the head. i had everything gone thru and a 3 angle valve job. I have too get the washers back in and readjust all my valves correct? or is it not that involved?

So in the process of doing the driftmotion upgrade, i stripped the threads on 2 of the studs with my stud remover. there not budging. any ideas?

Just pickup an auto harness used somewhere... lot easier i would think. Or get a new oine from toyota and get on that baller status:biglaugh:

Yea thats what i was getting at. Sorry for the confusing post. When i put them side by side they looked like they were different in how each stood out away from the timing cover. anyway, heres a pic.

Ill get a pic of the actual one tonight in my garage, but you notice in this picture the sprocket has the triangle like shapes cutout of it, well the one i have has circles cutout, and it looks like they sit a different distance away from the front of the timing cover, and one is heavier...

I think im just going to use regular old toyota red and distilled water because for one i can get it for free, and two ill have it always available to me if im working on my car at work. Also, i saw a comment someone made about using toyota pink, and i would be careful using that. Its 100K...

So as i was assembling my motor last night i realized i had 2 very different oil pump drive sprockets. They had different offsets, and one had circles drilled around it, whereas the other one had trapazoid looking shapes on it(i dunnop if thats right... it was like a triangle with a flat top.)...

just go to toyota and get a gasket kit.

my cousin told me he tried it and it has a bunch of side effects.... messes with your taste buds too.... and it doesnt really work.

Ive hung off gear wrenches before and tighten/break stuff loose with them all the time. You dont gotta worry about em breaking.
