13.9 sec mkiii lexus afm with 440 engine did not blow???

OK...what about those Supras that produce sub 10:1 a/f fueling with standard injectors , standard fuel pump, with standard fuel pressure and a standard AFM at boost levels before fuel cut kicks in? What about the 80-90% injector duty cycles reported with S-AFCII's and E-manage on the injectors...

    HKS S-AFR Problem

Thanks Supralover - hope you're right on this one. Tubbie, I have did exactly what you suggested, as I followed the instructions. DIP switch 4 is set "OFF", karman vortex is selected. I turn key to ON, and the unit will flash "2", I turn the response knob to set it to 6 cylinders. I then...

    HKS S-AFR Problem

Hi all, Couldn't find anything in the search relating to the problem I'm having with the HKS S-AFR with the 7M-GTE. The unit lets me adjust all the settings, and the cylinder number, but the problems I'm having is 1) After setting up the cylinder number (6) - and then "saving" this setting...

    Coolant Question

That L-hose (hell hose) tends to leak alot of coolant from even a small hole or split. It makes alot of noise too, so spotting a leak when the car is hot isn't too difficult.

    Whats the Stock Max boost?

Some good points there. "Stock boost" assumes people are still using the restrictive stock exhaust system, elbow and downpipe. When people see gains in boost by upgrading the exhuast, it's difficult to be sure what boost the standard actuator is rated as.

    car clicking but not cranking

The Non-US Supras never had a starter relay, the starter control wire sends power to turn and pull solenoid plunger, aligning the teeth of the starter pinion to the flywheel. After so many years the wire just can't deliver the current to do this job, especially when the engine is hot - it has...

HKS Super AFR not allowing car to start

Do you think the blue wire being hooked up to the BATT wire on the ecu harness was the cause to the HKS unit to not display "2" when turning the key to ign?

HKS Super AFR not allowing car to start

Yep, I made sure the sensory settings are for KV AFM. I will remove the blue wire from the ECU harness. So the only power feed should be the 12 v IGN right?

HKS Super AFR not allowing car to start

Hello all, I tried searching for threads related to the HKS Super AFR but nothing much but for sale threads showed up. Anyway, I have wired the device to the ECU as the instructions indicated, however the unit doesn't read the number 2 when setting the key to ignition, it just displays the %...

    No boost past 11 psi

Try adding 2 washers on each actuator bolt to raise the boost.

Slow spool and no power after 4500

Boost leaks perhaps? What has been done to your car, is it pretty much standard?

    SP Turbo

Yes, I'm pretty confident that SP turbos will flow more air per PSI than an upgraded CT-26, but you have to consider how much air the 7M can draw at the boost level set against it. All I am saying is, whatever SP turbo you choose, you will make the similar power at 14 psi, as they all supply...

    SP Turbo

You misundertood it, my friend. @ 14 psi, both SP turbos will flow more air than the 7M will draw at 14 psi. That means, it's irrelevant which of the 2 SP turbos you use if you only plan to boost to 14 psi. If the 58 flows more than the 6x, you won't notice it at 14 psi. You can only make as...

    SP Turbo

Don't you listen, Justin??? If you are only running 14 psi, you can use the CT-26 and it will flow enough air to give you good power. Or just go for an upgraded CT-26. SP turbos juuuust to run 14 psi is overkill.
