    aluminum radiator question

If you read the post above yours, we gave him answers. Clearly no one has a 3 core. The over flow shouldn't be impacted. Maybe if he put a front mount on it. But the over flow is on the other side of the condensor. Just make sure you buy an oem replacement style. It should have two half moon...

    SOLVED: Supra Crank No Start

Change your ground points. Just move it from the body to another part of the bay. As long as the metal is bare and has a solid connection, it should ground out.

    SOLVED: Supra Crank No Start

It wouldn't hurt to test out that ground but I don't think it's going to make a difference for block or body. Both are grounds anyways.

Starts fine cold, chokes up on hot start

Hmm...I didn't know Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki put Briggs in their motorcycles. Maybe I just didn't check the engine codes on them. I'll got check my fz8 right now. It might have a Briggs. The rings may expand. But it also expands everything else. Such as possible cracks or gasket issues. Which...

Car only cranks while on charger or being jumped

actually, i didnt see you use the battery for another car. i would check your cables. especially your ground. are you grounding the jumper cables or charging cables off the battery post or the body? if the body, i would assume your battery ground is bad. and any car can run with out the battery...

Car only cranks while on charger or being jumped

sounds like a bad connection with the battery and terminals. are they clean? corroded? is your battery truely good? it could have a bad cell, causing it to not hold or even gain a charge.

Starts fine cold, chokes up on hot start

hard or slow starts when warm is a common symptom of low compression. i learned this quite a few times with some motorcycles i had.

    aluminum radiator question

Your best answer would be asking the seller of it to measure the thickness. I'm going to have to assume yes since I have quite a bit of room with mine, even though it's a dual core, 3 core isn't much bigger. Why go with 3? 2 is plenty enough.

    7mgte knocking

yeah, i'd even go through and check your cam bearing caps. make sure they are torqued down. i think they only need to be torqued to 13ft lbs if im correct.

    7mgte knocking

Best way to figure it out, pull the valve covers and look. Doesn't take long to do. If the valve shims look fine, you might want to pull the cam and inspect the valve springs and retainers. If that all looks fine, it might be more internal than you though(wrist pin on the piston), that's if it...

    aluminum radiator question

I got an eBay 2 core. Fit fine with room to spare. But, if you haven't replaced your coolant hoses, be prepared for coolant leaks. As soon as I replaced my radiator, almost half of my coolant hoses failed. What a pain that was.
