    Fuel Pump Voltage

My headlight problem was a weird one too. Whoever did the swap tied in a pwr wire to the ECU. This pwr wire existed for the 7M but wasn't needed for the 1J. Disconnected the wire and no more headlight issues! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fuel Pump Voltage

Yeah, you are absolutely right. Had it in the shop and the EFI issue was a loose power pin on my ECU (green wire) will find out tomorrow if it also solved my headlight issue. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fuel Pump Voltage

Another odd thing that is happening is when the throttle is quickly flicked my headlights come on!?! If I remove my headlight relay it doesn't do it anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fuel Pump Voltage

Apparently that was not my problem. Got some serious electrical issues going on. Car won't even run unless I jump FP and B+ on check connector. And even then it runs a bit rich on that setting. I checked for continuity between almost all connections in the efi circuit but nothing seems out of...

    Fuel Pump Voltage

Think I found my problem, it is between EFI relay and ECU Bat. Showing I have a short there or loose connection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fuel Pump Voltage

Weird thing is it was running just fine last week. Swap was done about 10 years ago. I did recently go single turbo but it was running well afterwards. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fuel Pump Voltage

Yeah should be either 8v or 12v I think. My afrs are all over the place. At idle I'm at 18. I am wondering if my fuel pump is on its way out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Fuel Pump Voltage

Hi there, I'm trying to trouble shoot something and could use some assistance. I have a jza70 1jz engine in a mk3 supra and when I put a voltmeter between Fp and B+ on the check connector I'm getting a bit over 4 volts at idle. I have not done a fuel pump relay mod. Can someone check their 1J to...

Power antenna, dual antenna or just the hatch glass antenna.

I'm using the glass antenna and I find it works great. This is just my opinion but I think the antenna left retracted looks better than a plug would. If you were to fill the hole and paint I'd say that would look the best but it would mean you couldn't go back to the mast antenna (easily...

How was your experience with the CHRA? I heard you should buy from Chinese companies that have a top seller rating which is based off of good feedback. I'll be honest I'm leery of going this route but I don't daily my car so it won't see a lot of miles. And I'm running out of affordable...

    ct12 highbrids ?

Actually, it's more like $145, I had a closer look. Still pretty reasonable. Was going to cost over $1300 CDN to rebuild them here and that's just to keep the turbo stock and replace to steel turbine wheel. Are you running standalone engine management? I'm going to use an EBC to run 13ish...

    ct12 highbrids ?

They are about $130USD each. How much HP are you running now? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    ct12 highbrids ?

Well I decided to buy some Chinese made CHRAs for the ct12as. Just going to run it for a couple years then go single turbo. These CHRAs are steel turbine wheel so won't have to worry about delamination. I have two sets of twins but both are toast. How's your setup working so far? Sent from...

Great, cool project. I've decided for the short term to buy a Chinese made CHRA for the ct12as to run for a couple years until the CDN dollar comes back up. It is so bad right now. Was hoping to go single turbo but just not gonna happen this year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Airbag or no? Throw in your $.02 here

I should also mention that when working on your airbag system make sure battery is disconnected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Airbag or no? Throw in your $.02 here

I had an aftermarket steering wheel on my car when I bought it and my airbag controller was unplugged too (also the light in the dash was removed too). In order to pass an inspection I had to fix the airbag system so to not show an error code. Plus I wanted one. It would be relatively easy to...

    Affordable Turbo Core/Cartridge CT12a

Hey guys, I've never taken a turbo apart and could use some info from those who have. I'm in Canada and with our dollar taking a beating, I am going to wait a few years until I go single turbo. In the meantime, I want to "fix up" my twin turbos so they at least don't burn any more oil (spending...

White residue around exhaust manifold. Pics included

Could be that you are running lean or rich (can't remember which though). One of those conditions can cause white residue on metal, I think it was lean. I realize it might be out there but that's what a shop was telling me back in the day when my car wasn't tuned right and I had some white...

Airbag or no? Throw in your $.02 here

If you are worried about an old airbag, I bought a 2002 Celica steering wheel and adapted it to fit. Looks great but it took a bit of work to do. Just need a steering wheel that has a single stage airbag (airbag will have two wires going to it). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
