Your results from the MP T70 turbo?

Changed to E85 and have a new higher power figure for the Master Power T70 of 762whp at 27psi through my TH400.

Yes, any Turbonetics, Garrett or similar P-trim housing should fit. I bought a garrett copy T4 0.84 divided P-trim for mine and had it machined out to Q-trim for my T4 Q-trim MP T70.

MP don't make a 0.81 to my knowledge. Are you using a custom exhaust housing? Also is it T3 or T4.

Excellent power from the 1JZ and the MP T70. They are a very under-rated turbo.

Long story but possible ecu issue (link g4 ecu)

If you have two fuel pumps installed but only one wired up, do you have a one way valve on the un-wired pumps fuel line before the tee, so that the wired pump does not push fuel backwards out through the other pump?

setup is done. aiming for 450hp using a safc . bcc needed for my tune?

My injector calculator says 450rwhp (dynojet) would be about 85% duty cycle which is fine. As the OP is only after 400whp (about 75%), the 550cc will be fine for him.

You forgot to change the rwkw to rwhp. :) Make sure you change the dyno to dynojet as well.

Your tuner is being very conservative. The 550cc injectors are good for 500whp assuming the rest of your fuel system is up for it. See my injector calculator at: http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/injectors.htm

    Turbo setup please help

The 550cc injectors are good for much more then 400rwhp so thats fine. The stock JDM ecu with the EManage is fine as well. The Holset should make that hp okay. As mentioned a suitable fuel pump and tuning are needed as well.

    Dual Walbros?

I am running two stock feed lines (teed at the bango at the top of the hanger) feeding each end of the rail with a single stock return line. A mate took his stock feed line out so this made for an easy and cheap way to double the flow. The pump is 238mm long and 43mm diameter. BTW the Walbro...

    Dual Walbros?

Why not run one big pump like the Walbro WSP330 or the Walbro 416? Then you don't need to worry about what happens if one pump fails. I've made 670rwhp @ 24psi with the WSP330 using E85 so they can flow enough fuel for big hp.

Your results from the MP T70 turbo?

It has the AR on the downpipe side of the exhaust housing if you need to make sure its the 0.84.

Your results from the MP T70 turbo?

I have a T4 0.84 Q-trim divided housing on mine at the moment. This size was never offered by MP (only the T3 had this AR) so I bought a Garrett copy in P-trim and had it machined out to Q-trim. I will probably go back to my original MP T4 1.00 divided housing soon, once I install the higher...

Your results from the MP T70 turbo?

The T70 is a very different turbo to the GT45 series turbo so you cannot easily compare the two turbos. The GT45 is a big frame turbo whereas the T70 is a small frame turbo. The GT45 (MP4598 series) has a 68.9mm compressor wheel compared to the T70 with 69.1mm so pretty similar wheel inducer...

Is there such a thing as spacers or risers for turbos?

Here is the T4 flange dimensions. I have a T4 divided 20mm spacer in mine. Got it CNC machined out of 20mm plate.

Your results from the MP T70 turbo?

An old thread but as I'm getting very good hp numbers from my Masterpower T70, I would like others to know they can make good power with the right supporting mods. Not a 7M though as I have a 2JZ Mkiv with 272 Crower cams, +1mm valves, porting, custom intake, 80mm TB, 6Boost manifold, 4"...
