i dont think it was in craigslist, maybe a long time ago. the owner is swapping a different engine in it, so he didnt need the driveline.

I am going to grind the crank, .25mm oversized bearings, .020 stock cast pistons, resurface head and block, HKS hg, arp head studs, new oil pump, and new oil squiter 'bolts/valves'. all new gaskets... basically just rebuild the stock engine. later on after my honda projects are at a good...

you underdrive the acessories on the engine to free up horsepower. like you said a larger pully will spin, the alternator for example, slower. the larger pully also gives the crankshaft more leverage to turn the alternator, so it has more tq availible, meaning it needs less hp from the crank...
