i put maft pro on my 91 and loved it
either this weekend or the next ill be installed a 60 trim, 550s, afpr, fuel pump and maft pro for a buddy in speed density
More progress has been made
Modified a custom trans shifter cable to work with stock shifter
Hooked up trans cooler
Added coolant and tried to bleed system to find that the truck style water pump will not let the system bleed due to the upper radiator hose having a highest spot in the cooling...
a little late on the pics i said i would upload...but here they are
car idles for 1 second due to VATS(vehicle anti theft system) going to have it reflashed this friday then will upload a video

Valves hand lapped
LS9 headgaskets and new headbolts installed
Exhaust manifolds installed(started some exhaust mock up...waiting to mount turbo over the weekend)
Spark plugs, MSD wires installed
Driveshaft made and installed
Turbo...
A mechanic cant physically look at something and tell you its perfectly flat
Only way to tell is if you check with a machinist straight edge and feeler gauges
Otherwise you may have just wasted your money on a MHG
But i wouldnt jump to conclusion on BHG again
I know my 87 turbo supra had a MHG...
Got some more work done today finally:
Engine bay cleaned
Piston rings gapped
Motor cleaned/ assembled and painted
Turbo oil drain installed in oil pan
Lokar trans dipstick install
Custom driveshaft installed
Motor installed hopefully for the last time lol

There was a 1/2'' tall nub sticking off that i had to remove due to frame rail clearance's
Got my driveshaft today from a 95 firebird
I actually think its the correct length...wouldnt that be so awesome lol
Got my manifolds welded thanks to my buddy at BP Autosports. Hes the guy who welded my mounts and manifolds
Hopefully ill recieve my z06 cam today then i can assemble motor
And got my FMIC
