    Let's talk A/C Condensers !!

Hey...sorry to bump this. What's the difference between the 86.5 (don't know exactly when they switched) condenser and those used for the subsequent years? I'm looking on TheACParts.com and there are two different part #'s, 1039292 (86.5) and 1039293 (the rest).

    Some valve spring questions

Hey guys. I've done a lot of searching, and I can't find much info on either of the following questions. (Regarding Comp Cams Part# 975) So, from what I've read, these don't fit perfectly. I saw that there was some speculation over whether or not the Comp springs would wear the sides of...

    Exhaust manifold stud upgrade

Hey...I bought this kit a few weeks ago, and my machinist is afraid that there's not enough meat around the bottom holes for a 7/16". Seeing as I've never heard a complaint about this kit, I can't imagine this is the case. Has anyone ever had a problem with the walls being too thin after...

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2…now 3.

Any close-ups of where the throttle linkage goes through the COP plate? Is it right in the middle of the coil #5 mounting point or off a bit?

Project Git 'er done!: Stages 1, 2…now 3.

I know it happened a while ago, but how hard was it to get the spherical bushings pressed in/out of the rear hub? To get it out did you remove the bearing and then cut the steel sleeve? That's how it looked in the pic.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

Is there any difference between the DG500 and the DG529 (not 528) besides the mounting point? Seeing that the #5 coil might interfere with the throttle linkage, and I want to use Dragon Fire, I was wondering if the 529 works with this mod. Btw, what brand of coil are you using, Diego?

What are you guys missing in parts/service/manufacturing support for the MK3 Chassis?

How about a dashboard with built-in gauge pods? I've been looking for ways to mount gauges cleanly, but the MK3 doesn't have a lot of options.

    morganson's COP S-Type setup

I think I'm one of that three, but here: HeWhoOvercomes / Jordan S. / Qty-1 / Undermount / 88020 ^^and is that spacer made from the 1/2 inch tubing included with the plate?

    Building an Engine "Tight"

So, it looks like that puts me a bit above the TSRM tolerance. Is there any trade-up in longevity when you make the clearances larger? I mean, obviously if you run a 700 hp motor with stock oil clearance you'll kill the motor a lot faster, but if you only run 300 hp with 600 hp clearances, is...

Thanks for the reply. Pardon my ignorance, but when you say mid-2's or high-2's, what's the unit you're using? It's my first rebuild. ;)

    Building an Engine "Tight"

Realistically, about 450 WHP for now, but I'd like to be able to make up to 600 reliably. What effect does power level have on clearance?
