Yea 2jz rods and pistons are forged. I hoped the 1jz are forged as well but I haven't found anything that says they are.

yea cause forged oem 2jzge pistons are way cheaper than cp piston. i can go to a engine dismantler and get a 2jzge block hella cheap

stock comp on 2jzge is 10 to 1, stock comp on a 1jzgte is 8 5 to 1, so i like higher comp ratings. so maybe comp would round 9 to 1 in a 1jz with 2jzge pistons
