nah, sorry. the more parts it loses, the tougher it will be to sell. and a short shifter i think is the only thing that fits with the w58 tranny, since it is shorter and sits a little more forward on the 7mgte, but i could be wrong..this is in washington if anybody is interested.

well it did not smoke when i started it today. no weird idle either.. and i drove it around. runs perfect, smooth. maybe just because it sat for like 4-5 days??? -_-

umm. why would you have a 1.2mm headgasket? i thought stock it was 1.37mm and you had to machine the head and block therefore needing a bigger one...........?

alright, so it started after like 5 minutes of trying, and the master cylinder rusted so we replaced it. runs good now.

scratch that, my dad put the throttle position sensor on wrong, i fixed it.

any ideas? when we first started it, it didn't have this problem. then we changed timing belts, master cylinder, and water pumps. help?

Yeah, I suppose that's true. I heard foreign engines Inc was pretty trustworthly though. My dad thought at first something might have been wrong with the turbo but it spins free with little shaft play. I haven't ran it for more than 5 minutes total ---------- Post added at 01:25 PM ----------...

we just got my supra to start today with its low mileage jdm 7mgte and it is smoking from the exhaust and by the turbo. how long will this last for and is this normal? my friend said it is and will go away after a little but i want to confirm this.

wouldn't the jdm ecu help on future emissions removal though. i don't care all that much about mileage being it will barely effect it. but why go stock egr?
