the welds on a gas-less welding setup will be ugly compared to a gas set up if you have a junk car start practicing on it, what will it hurt, just make sure you take the precautions before to make sure you dont catch anything on fire cuz it wont take much. it just comes down to the quality...

thats what a flux core wire is i do believe. i personally can weld just about anything with any method of welding i.e. brazing, mig, tig...i have never really been a fan of ''gas-less'' welding, the welds often come out nasty looking and harder to work with. But like Jetlock said you need to...
