I was just putting my motor together and would like some input on how close to put the mesh on the bottom of the oil pickup tube to the bottom of the oil pan. I was figuring about 1/4 inch.
I just figured I would put up a pic of my oil cooler for other people to get some Ideas other than the standard "radiator" type. It uses engine coolant to keep the oil at the 180 degrees. It eliminates the need for an oil thermostat too.
I am finally getting around to building a motor for some power. I have JE .50 over pistons, crower rods, full ferrea oversize valvetrain, and a T61 turbo. I was just wondering about any little tricks to making a 7m be reliable for 600-700 horse. Any tips would be appreciated.
I was wondering what the people that have the 13" big brake kit (front) and 12" (rear) think of it. how well does it perform in comparison to the stock setup? easy to install? well engineered? anything you guys think about it i would like to hear.
