Well I've been wanting to do a ridiculous swap for a while and this one just seemed to make sense. I had a parts car with a complete 7M and a pickup with a busted 20R. There's really only one answer to that problem ;)

Ok, so I had a stock FP. But I dropped my fuel tank for some other reason and decided to put in a Walbro that I got a while back. I bypassed the J-tube to get rid of that restriction. I also replace the fuel filter at the same time. I don't have 550's, lex afm or an afpr (one or all of these...
Does anyone know the best way to remove it?
Book says take it to a shop blah blah... I work in a machine shop so I should have the tools or be able to make any jig that I would need. I'm just looking for a bit of guidance before I have at it.
I have a car with ABS as well if that makes...
I got this bike for nothing and it runs good so I think it's worth the time and practice doing body work before I start on my car. Anyway I had it parked on a college campus and it got trashed so I thought I should start over.
I'm going to lower it 2" in the front and an inch in the rear...
So yeah, this is purely a cosmetic thing. There are no real benefits other than maybe a couple pints of extra gas :icon_conf I'm doing it because I wanted to shave my gas door.
There is still a channel for the water to run out the side and I put a drain line on the bottom of the plastic...
So I rigged mine up temporarily until I can finish building my hard pipes. But I'm not sure how to hook it up. There are 2 nipples on it, one (the upper) obviously for the vacuum but I don't know what the other is for, a pressure inlet? I dunno, all I do know is that it's not working...
Wasn't sure what caused this but it's gotta be the lug nuts. The OD of the nut doesn't fit the ID on the rim.
Guess I'll change the hub and get new lug nuts now...
Ok, so I have a dilemma.
My car is making a really loud whine, seemingly from the turbo side of the car, in the engine bay. I doesn't make this sound when I rev the car or when I downshift and the rpms go up. It only seems to make the whine when it under load and starts to build boost...
I was wondering if it would be worth getting. Also where I might be able to get one.
I hit a rock a while back and wound up with a gnarly dent in my oil pan. So if I have to change it out anyway I might as well upgrade.
I'll have to get a pic of it later to see if you guys think it...
I'm not really sure what constitutes starting a build thread but I figured I would start one and add to it as the small projects come and go. Unfortunately I don't have any HUGE projects (like turbo upgrades or fun stuff) lined up YET, but they will come eventually.
So anyway, these are some...
I don't mean like online where people like to pretend they can buy things they can't. OR when you put your car up for sale :icon_razz . But like serious offers: trade their car + cash or just cash, something like that.
I've had 6 that I can think of and my Supra is NOT special by any...
EDIT: A clarification, I would like to rebuild my R154, not my engine. I've already done that :)
I'm going to be doing a swap soon. I have both complete cars so I'm not really afraid of not having "this" or "that" on hand. BUT when I do this I would like to do it right so that I don't have...
I never thought coilovers would be a bad thing but these ones are starting to piss me off a bit. I bought a car with Tein Flex coilovers and it's been sitting for almost a year. There is a bit of rust on the threads and the nuts on all of them were difficult to turn.
However, on one of...
This may be a noob question but I did a search and only found part of the answer. I'm building some mild steel IC pipes and DDP. I have some questions about sizes.
Starting with the IC pipes: I know that 2.5" dia. will hold me over until I REALLY upgrade the turbo (SP61GT is all that I...
