This may be a noob question but I did a search and only found part of the answer. I'm building some mild steel IC pipes and DDP. I have some questions about sizes.
Starting with the IC pipes: I know that 2.5" dia. will hold me over until I REALLY upgrade the turbo (SP61GT is all that I hope to be running late this summer, bigger down the road hopefully). BUT if the throttle body is 2.75" (info from another post, unsure of correctness) would it be worth it to run 2.75" piping on the cold side of the IC and run 2.5" on the hot side? Would this cause too much lag or would I not notice it?
Second part of the question: When I make the DDP what thickness should I use? Is .065" enough? I plan to thremal wrap the pipe and spray it with a ceramic coating as well.
I'll appreciate any input, THANKS!
