No lol. Im saying leave them open and band them. Cause they are cheap and are a five spoke wheel that can easily be painted. There perfect for a set of drift wheels so you dont mess up a really expensive pair
i have an interesting idea that i believe more that one mk3 owner will be interest in. i want to know if you guys think that these would work on our cars. there the same bolt pattern and i believe that the offset is about +40...
so what is the max that you have seen work with our cars? even with rolling/flared fenders. and obviously stock is probably as small as youd want to go.
i noticed that the calculator does not factor in lip size, so how do i do the calculation when factoring in a lip? i believe that if a wheel is 8" wide that means that it is 203 mm wide. so if the wheel is +50 for offset then from the mounting face inward you will have 151mm on the inside and...
so with wheel like those meisters if you take the wheel offset minus the with of the lip that will give you a rough idea of how they will fit compared to stock wheels right? cause if stock wheels are +37 then you could have a wheel that is +50 and a 13mm lip and it would fit just as flush right?
ok thanks for helping me. i realized i am reading the chart wrong. i didnt realize that they show a range not only the shown numbers. i think work meisters are a little out of my price range but that doesnt mean that i didnt learn anything. thanks
ya i take that back i will definately consider rolling my fenders. but when i read that chart if a number is +55 does that mean 55mm of positive offset? and i want 17's or 18's
i would roll my fenders if it came too it....... but only in the back. and i probably wont need aftermarket calipers just pads. i want it to be a cruising/drift car.
well i have stock calipers so thats not a problem. my brakes are completely stock, i plan on running aftermarket pads but that doesnt matter what wheels i run. i want as much lip in the rear as possible and at least stock tire width all the way around. preferably wider tires in the back. so i...
