Well i forgot to update this thread, but i passed emissions with the new 02, but.....I just barely passed, it still is running rich for some reason. I posted another thread about spark plug change that has some new issues that arose.

My valve cover gasket was leaking a few weeks back, but a new one replaced it. I can't see any smoke during the day, but at night i can see it in other people's headlights when i lay on it. The car is running a lot better with the new plugs that i might add. Also, i just had my head surfaced...

So i changed my plugs today, and they looked awful. No. 6 and 2 cyl's were just filled with oil. I am smoking when laying on it. Looks like a darker color smoke, but i can't tell for sure. I can see it in my rear view when i let someone get close to me and i lay on it. My head was redone...

somebody has to know lol. Am i one of the only few gonna be running this turbo kit?

I haven't installed mine yet and the previous owner wasn't sure if the stock intercooler piping meets up with this turbo. Anybody know if it does? Thanks, bob.

becauseican has the best sounding mk3 that there is. You got to hear if you haven't. He has a vid on here somewhere. I wish he were to sell that setup.

yeah i don't want to go doing that, i replaced the 02 sensor, ill get the readings at lunch time, which will be accurate. Haven't gotten it test again yet.

hydrocarbons is unburnt fuel not oil.

I think ill try to get it tested tomorrow and find out.

Changed o2, but i was told my readings were too high for it to be just a bad o2 sensor.

yeah, i think my gas mileage is pretty bad. I assumed that was normal, but now i wonder. Let me ask you this, if i hit fuel cut and don't clear the code do you think that might make me run lean. Better put does, the a/f get altered when you hit fuel cut?

I have the mac iso for a windows machine ;) that is unix based. Drivers might be hard to come by though. No, but i would upgrade to 2000 pro with the machine you have. I should have it lying around my house somewhere. Ill look for it. Xp pro is a good operating system don't let anybody fool...

found it. Getting code 11. Momentary interruption in power supply to ecu, which was probably caused when he disconnected the battery when it was getting worked on. Also, it costs 147 dollars for an 02 for the car, wondering if i should try going with the cheaper bosche one that they make...
