Just to add to the conversation. I had similar issues with my FAL setup. 2 bad circuit breakers. Yes, at one time, they had circuit breakers instead of fuses with their kits. Then i have had multiple problems with the fan just running when it was suppose to. It has left a very bad taste in my...
yeah, it has been 2 years like that. recently i have been smelling a little gas in the engine bay, i thought that my fuel mixture was just running a bit too rich and i had an exhaust leak, jeesh! What would be a quick and easy fix for the time being? I am going to be driving her in about 2 hours.
Oh my! i just went and looked at my engine after reading this and i noticed that i never reinstalled a charcoal canister after my 1j build. here is a pic. The fuel is evaporating in my engine bay. What is the part number for the jdm canister? I dont think the stock one could possibly fit in that...
Damn, i have never seen that. Did this exact same thing happen on your first ECU? I am guessing that one of your cars systems is screwing your ecu :( Too bad we dont have maps of the ecu to help troubleshoot the problem :(
Yeah, i definitely didn't have that problem. I was able to rev to 7k without any issues. It ran very well! Only issue was the idle when warm and that is still a problem, so it wasn't the ecu.

That is what i drive daily. But my aftermarket ecu died, and so it fuel cuts after 12 lbs now. But with a fuel computer 15 daily was safe for me. Make sure your a/f ratio is always safe. Get a wideband!
