Ok... Im interested in reducing the weight on my 87 Turbo Supra, and at the same time trying to keep it balanced. What do I mean by balanced... That neither front, back, left or right will have more weight than the other... I know that this is hard to acheive seeing as the Supra is said to be...
yeah, but its better to be safe than sorry... atleast i know that i have that out of the way now and later i wont have to worry about it... My turbo's being protected befor hand.
Hey shaeff, i got one for ya... You know the space between where the air filter is, and where the upper intercooler pipe enters the fender right? The spot where the neck for the washer fluid reservoir is right? How bout removing the reservoir and placing the catch can in that spot? Id imagine...
Seriouse or not, I'll still be raping most of the cars on the street. In its current state i allready rape 350Z's... And i still got about $3,000 more to put into it befor its back on the street. Not including Fuel/Boost upgrades... Im only at 10psi sometimes... Damn boost leaks.
And no...
Ok, well I promised you guys a Befor and After shot.... Here you go. Its not all that big a difference but it provides a bit more eye candy for the interior. Dont hate on my show mods. Atleast the tach is both functional and looks decent.
W/O Autometer Phantom 5" Monster Tachometer w/...
Well its just using an AFR for now... Its what i bought the car with. Cars staying parked till March of next year anyways.... Its not comming out on the street till everything is fixed on it. Its gonna be fun learning how to drive this supra again... That and handing everyone their asses in it :D
Where do you guys plug in A/F Ratio meters? Imma get a EGT later on and scrap my A/F but id like to relocate the wire go the O2 sensor in the bay to in the cabin. Sorry, im a neat freak when it comes to my car. I love eye candy and a nice clean car. Thats me.
Ok, I know where the diagnostic port is... I've known since it was first mentioned.... Only one question remains on my mind... What slot do I connect the wire to? Is any random slot with in the port good? Or is there a specific one I need?
And for the record, I know that the factory...
Nah, not looking for top end on this one. Im more interested in low end tourque. Imma read up later on how much power the W58 can handle. I dont have a turbo tranny on my supra.
i was wondering how long it would take you to pop in here shaeff... the catch can has been removed... its not in the bay right now. I tried moving it near the brake booster but no go. But the catch can isn't my concern now. any idea for the Tach man?
nah, the stock tach is fine.... I just wanted to add the autometer with the shift light... I'll have pictures of it installed later on... i just want it working now.
This is besides the point what im showing you guys... the first picture is how my bay was when i bought my supra back from my boy ray.
This is now... just remove the catch can. Im still trying to figure out what imma do with it.
and that works? If so, ill leave that as a last resort.... im really not in the mood of feeding another damn wire through the firewall... im running on 3 right now... Its cramped enough in that little damn hole as it is.
Im reading the cygnus thing and it says that its the blue wire comming from the cps.... that thats the one that sends rpm signals to the computer. Its an 87 Turbo. Its a brand new efi harness so i dont wanna tap into the wires under the hood... I just did one hell of a clean up on the bay and...
