One plus to working at Ford is that since I get to destroy the clunkers, I took the liberty of scavenging a power steering cooler off of a 99 Ford Explorer befor blowing the motor. Figure I'll integrate it into the power steering system as to have the fins help in cooling the fluid.

ok, re-checked the values i had for the shim sizes and updated the list above. Going to feed the rope back into cylinder 3 and remove the spring from E6 to have it preped for when i can debur it and fix the issues im having w/ the lifter bucket.

ok, while waiting for my micrometer i've gone and re-adjusted some of the lifter buckets. Had 6 that were sticking. E6 is still giving me problems. Might be having some clearance issues in the valve spring bore or might have to re-adjust the valve spring itself. We'll see whats up. Keep ya...

ok... i have a whole nother head worth of lifter buckets. Used those to get all of the lifters free minus E5. Took off the shim from the lifter then used a locking plier to grab the lip of the lifter to get it off. Im going to keep trying tommorrow. maybe even remove the valve spring again...

yeah, i knew there was some benefit to going green, just wasn't sure as to what it was. personaly i say the govt should give us money for buying our green supra's. Then again that wont help keep it green :sarcasm:

heh, i beg to differ kind sir. both terms apply only when torn appart and in the repair phase. I got tons of joy and fun out of that 7M for the 3 months it was running. now if only i can keep it running for more than 3 months this time.
