i was, i posted it in the georgia area.... unfortunantly they cancelled the dyno event and some of the other stuff though :( he said that hes gonna get another big meet going on this summer with more "boost" involved, like cruise, dyno, drag racing, or a track meet instead of just car meet...

:( so it seems that the dyno part of that meet has been cancelled.... my car STILL isnt ready anyways :(

modifying a perfectly good stock 1jz.... when i 1st installed the 1j that was the most fun i had ever had in that car.... then i modded it... and now... while still fun... doesnt beat the fun it was stock

why not?? he is planning on burning them up drifting anyways, and $100+ for a set of shoes thats gonna last him a few weeks at best doesnt seem practical.... if he finds a few good sets at a junk yard he could spend the same $100+ and have multiple pairs... they may be used but they will work...

1 of my buddys did a few runs on the dyno with using a sprayer kit, of course the nitros had a small gain because after going through the intercooler some was sucked in through the intake.... C02 had a reverse effect, the car actually lost a few hp, and like others have said, it could damage...

junk yard, $10 and im sure you can find a few sets that have decent pads left....

after doing the 1j swap(speed cut removed) i topped the speedo at 165mph and still seemd to have a lil more RPM to go.... my fastest speeding ticket was 106 in a 55.. i wish i could find that ticket

do i need to wire in anything for the 1jz injectors?? i think some1 was saying you need to wire in a resistor pack from the 7m or 2j?!

after doing some new research i have realized that the walbro is in more ways than 1 a POS, A. they fail fast, and B. you can pick up a factory style denso for a few bucks more and it pushes more fuel go with a denso and you wont be disapointed.... also yes re-wire it and make it a 12v...

OOOOOOK!!!!!!!! so we got the parking lights to work but now my dimmer switch is bad also... found that my retractor relay was bad now my question is, i swapped this with the green relay out of the 1jz... did i need to??? the original was a black relay box.... i feel like such an idiot...

ok, found the yellow wire i was missing.... didnt change anything :(

im not much of a fan of singles awareness day..... buuuuuuuuuut we ended up going to the GA aquarium and walked around centenial olympic park for a bit, then took the puppy out to the dog park, then took her out to dinner :) all in all was a good day... only disapointment was not getting...
