Lol, whats up with those "official color" threads? :D
By the way, in that pic i'm having my car taken to my mechanic for a rebuild (2nd time this summer. BHG, then rod knock, and this spring i'm going forged and mhg lol)
I didnt want to create a new topic so i'm asking in this. I'm getting TT rims and i dont know what tire width should i go with nor what spacers would i need. I want to stay speedo-correct and i dont want biger tires. Which tires are ideal to fit and what spacers I would need to manufacture for...
same question here. I'm shooting at 400rwhp, and i want to go all forged and maybe in future go for 500-600rwhp. What internals should i get? And what other works need to be carried out in order to hold this power?
i say u made a good decision, don't trust supra as your ultimate DD, fix it till she's perfect, then u could just sell your integra and keep Supra as DD ;) By the way, dont buy first supra in your path, try out few of them at first ;)
I do believe it should be covered in TSRM.
By the way, cranking time depends also on oil ;) I was using 10w-60 oil and thanks to JDub i switched to 0w-40 and Supra starts up way faster ;) Although thats only my .02
c'mon we have luxury tourers not some cheap-ass civic's, dont rip out cars off. The only good weight reduction is carbon fiber hood and trunk. Thats it, everything more is just rice.
its normal that it takes longer to start-up on cold start ;) I wouldn't worry about it to much (my '05 RX300 takes also ~5sec to start if I leave him outside). If u want quicker start, try waiting a few sec's in ignition mode before cranking, it helps to preheat wires (if it is very cold outside)
