IIRC the red car in the first pic on the left isnt the ABflug lip its the S2 lip.

i gotta helicoil my head too i 2-3 of my studs are stripped out. its causing my exhaust manifold leak.

straight to reverse works 95% of the time if it doesnt feel like it wants to go in i stop trying for a .5 of a sec never let my foot off the clutch and try again always works on the second time.

id just buy the gaskets from toyota their prolly cheap and much less drama. http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/EPC/Figures/MA8825C.gif youll need 17128-42020. EPC says its $12

yes you have to take that y pipe off i dont know of a better way than that, replacing the gaskets would be good might as well do it while its off. the nipples on the valve covers are supposed to have oil in them its normal.
