ok same idea i just misread the whole "when I left it in neutral it's now more like 4th" thing. There are 6 different housing. The bottom row are all interchangeable with the supra r154 and i believe the third from the left is the one you want. They measure 18" 18" 19" 20.5" 20.5" and 21" Source

http://my.is/forums/f114/r154-shifter-option-393172/ According to the link above, there are different shifter housings. The housing on a soarers r154 sits about 1.5" further back then the supras. Hence causing your issue. Check the pics in the link and see if your housing overhangs the trans.

Lol no worries. Everyone has to start somewhere. To start you will want: 550cc injectors -stay away from venom injectors Lexus AFM (Air Flow Meter) out of a sc400 or similar -you really only need the housing as the sensor is interchangable and a Walbro 255 Fuel Pump Also, make sure to search...

The Lexus AFM/550 injector combo is a simple way to get more fuel. The added fuel is matched with the increased air flow allowing the ECU to read as if everything was stock. And the added fuel allows you to run around 25% more boost before hitting fuel cut. You can then run a SAFC to further...

Bigger AFM means you'll run lean. Lean = motor go KABOOM. A bit of an over statement yes but it is very possible. Pick up a set of 550cc injectors (expect to pay around $300 used) AND a new fuel pump.
