Thanks for chopstick tip. I believe this will help me get everything back inline again. Screw taking the timing gear cover off and dealing with coolant. I almost had it earlier but I couldnt advance the sensor anymore to get it quite where it needed to be. Hopefully just one more time tomorrow...
Ok so I needed to replace the cps. I had an old one laying around so I took it all apart and cleaned it all up. Got the pickup coils to where they just barely clear the rotor. I turned the motor until i could see the first cam nose through the oil filter cap to get TDC. I put the sensor in the...
There is a coolant line down belowe the tstat houseing infront of the exhaust manifold. Right below the cps. It goes from the head to the heater bypass tube that runs down the side of the block under the turbo and manifold. I bet that is leaking. Inspect all of that as well as up behind the...
im fighting a similar issue on my car and it makes owning it pointless since when I turn it off that I have to let it cool all the way down before I can drive it again. Mine will not start at all when it it get to operating temp. At first it was just occasionally and now its everytime. Im...
Triple check all the connections. Check all the fuses and relays 4 the ignition. I would think its a connection tho bc nothing turns on. Typical supra for ya:3d_frown:
The other night I saw a broken red mkiii turbo goin on a flatbed on 95 north. I would have stopped to assist if it wasnt pooring rain and already going on the towtruck.
im working on this same hose and i put another one on with similar results to yours. my car is still leaking. i believe the fitting coming from the block is bent out of round and thats why its leaking. it happened on one of the other fittings on the driverside firewall and i got that one strait...
I thought my day was shitty when my bro fell against the side of one of my Supras and put a crease in the door. Hope everything works itself out. The fact that the battery was out means it only could have happend intentionally. Hope they find that juvenile..:nono:
Should have used a car that was worst off as a foundation bc it seemed like a clean well taken care of car before the transformation. Nice build definatly
call me bro and ill explain. Sethron71 is a local richmonder and he knows a ton also. Infact he has just become recognized as a vendor on here for custom intake and exhaust manifolds. Be nice to your supra and itll be nice back. Watch your fluids and follow proper procedures for operating the...
