Okay. I have a better idea of what I need to do to get this 7M-GTE up to par as a daily driver. I've had a few issues with the fluids, namely radiator and oil leaking, and I took it over to a stealership to take a look. I found a guy knowledgable with Supras and MR2s, and from spending a few...
I owned a beardie for 7 years and they are definitely an experience. The gaping they do under heat lamps is to thermoregulate their body temps so they don't overheat. Tell your friend to make sure he has a cool place to get to to hide from the heat as well, at least 20deg. cooler than his...
:rant2:Well.... that was semi-fruitless.... :3d_frown:
I found out that the front marker bulbs were touchy, and although I replaced the bulbs with fresh ones, I had to wiggle the blessed things a few times to get them to make contact with the wires, so now both front side markers light up...

This has started to light up whenever I tap the brakes after starting the car and never goes off until I turn the car off. I removed the rear panels and checked all the bulbs for scoring or carbon, all bulbs are intact. I also checked for loose wiring to each bulb and found one that looked like...
Nope, can't see gold-bronze on those wheels, don't think it would look right.
I'd go with either the white or black with red border around the rim, black spokes. THAT would stand out. :evil2:
I've been told that if your shocks are in that bad of a shape, it's cheaper and easier to ditch the TEMS system and just get 4 normal shocks. You can get really good performance for less money on 4 shocks than you would getting one TEMS-compatable shock, and you don't have to worry about whether...
