Yup, that should do it. Make sure you use a voltimeter to source out 12vDC to that red/black wire from the old TEMS connection in the console so that your power is consistant. Once you have proper power and ground taken care of, it'll light up all the buttons and be ready to go.

Important first question. Your HKS buttons all light up, correct? If you are not seeing your HKS buttons lit up you aren't getting power to the controller. Secondly, check the plugs going into the harness under the kick panel to make sure everything's tight. If you remove and reseat the plugs...

Should've read further... That's what I'll probably replace them with, just because they're newer. Now if I can find the procedure for the rewire to the new sensors, I should be golden.

I'm going to have to find someone local that knows wiring and grounds to figure out this rod knock sensor thing, or at least some pics of how the sensors wire up so I can bypass them completely (not an option I'm comfortable with). I'd rather keep the sensors as they are part of maintaining my...

There is no difference, but there IS a switch on the silver box on the Super Monitor. Since we know the internals are different on the N/A and Turbo (should be anyway, since they are labelled and parted differently), the switch is probably for manual/auto (Upper left area above the label).

What about that octane booster you can put in a tank to elevate the octane rating? I was curious if those even work.

Seriously? I don't have a problem with the cars. There's no denying it, they will save tons of money and seemingly go everywhere on a full tank of gas. They also have good pep for navigating traffic congestion and are relatively sturdy little vehicles, for 4 cylinders. My problem? The idiots...
