I did the clay bar and then used the Griot's Garage One Step Sealant on my car a few months ago. I couldn't believe how amazing it looked.
The real surprise is that it took scratches out of the plastic trim as well!

According to the TSRM and many old threads FIPG should be placed at the front of the valve covers when installing them.
The TSRM shows were to place the FIPG, but they are NOT clear about how much to use.
