I have dated a girl that falls into this category, and I can't begin to tell you how impossible it really is to deal with. There isn't a thing that any one person can do to keep up with their "needs."
The one I dated needed constant reassurance with everything. It is mentally draining to...
Thank you for the advice, I must ask though - could you be more specific about working in sales?
Are you implying that I sell cars - or work in the parts department? Or do you mean become a service writer - because they are also technically doing sales as well.
I couldn't agree with you...
Just a week ago I finally graduated from college. I did so in what seems to be a record amount of time.. I only attended for a little over a year and came out with a degree that would normally take 2 and half years to attain.
I got my Associates in Automotive Technology and also attained a...
Buy car now! Only 4 previous murderers! Haha, I really like that ride.
I used to have a 944, and I absolutely loved that car. But I would have to say your Benz has more class than an old beat up 80's Porsche.
I can totally agree with that. I was only trying to lead the man in the right direction. Thanks for the props.
On another note, Chaotic - Have you checked your injector style?
It took me a while to remember what each style was, but when they changed impedances it was due to the change of...
Well, if you think about it..
The resistor is needed for the 87-89 cars, due to the different impedance injectors... the older injectors have a low impedance whereas the newer style injectors are a higher impedance.
So without the resistor pack in place, you can bet that your injectors are...
Did you put in enough fluid? I have had this same problem with reverse and I went through everything and I came to find out that it was my pedal adjustment. I would check that first if you aren't leaking anything.
Good job on getting it fixed... I had a kid in one of my classes just the other day asking around about why his temperature gauge was going up and down after a coolant flush, and I butted in and said it was air...
He was quick to shoot that idea down, and said no way, it cant be that, I...
Fixing most of the things that got fried are mainly just time consuming. Once upon a time I didn't tighten up the cold start injector fuel line... I went to crank over... wow... I had a blaze.
Thankfully I had the fire extinguisher... but I had to run to get to it... so quite a few wires got...
lol... come on now, that was low.
I don't suggest tasting around for gasoline.
I am still really kinda shocked that none of you guys have ever just tasted a fluid to identify it at least one time in your life... It isn't all the time that you just know what something is....
For the...
When you had it flowed... what did your CFM flows turn out to be for each cylinder? I am kinda curious as to how much can be gained from a port job on our heads...
It looks like you have some valve seating issues though for real. Not too much fun to have to deal with.
Is your diagnostic block still there? Those look like some of the wires that run to it.
When I first started having to deal with issues involving cut harnesses, I wanted to cry. Trust me, it isn't easy when you first start out, but with the help of wiring diagrams, wiring becomes simple...
