Awesome, I'll definitely take you up on that when the time is ready. I've also not even begun to think about sights yet, baby steps. I think I'll stick with some basic iron sights, I'm not looking for a serious distance shooter with my first build.

When it comes to the upper I am either buying complete or paying someone to build it from the parts I gather. From what I have seen, I don't have the tools needed to do it right and the cost of the tools would make it not worth while, at least for now.

If your lenses turn out I would be interested if you start selling them ha. Mine are just as pitted as the ones in your pictures. What kind of heat can the plexi handle though? As it is my glass lenses are to hot to touch after a few minutes of light from the HIDs(35w).

I thought about doing something like that, just didn't know if I could make them better or worse ha. I also have 3000k HIDs in mine and the difference from standard h3 bulb is night and day.

When I still had my back seats they were awesome for bringing groceries home, the way they slant down/back held everything in place ha. As for putting people back there, yea useless.
