Complete TH350 swap for MKIII worth?

It depends on a lot of things Is it a good converter and can it be adjusted if you contact the manufacturer, does the firewall have to be pounded, is the flywheel sfi certified, who built the trans, what is in the trans, what kind of shifter, ds included. All of these things make the...

    Machine shops in NJ

R and L in westwood. All I can say is they never screwed anything up for me. They are just a regular machine shop, but all I have ever had done is regular rebuilding processes. Just make sure you tell them exactly what you want like your piston to wall to be and such. JJ really is a pain to...

New dyno numbers, Maybe its not a stock CT??

It's right on because you got the turbo to actually make boost. The reason stock CTs never make big power is because most of them can only hit 15psi or so and trickle down to even less by redline. I bet you its a stock CT, you just rigged up the actuator real good. My car made 397 ft lbs of...

    Titan MHG reviews

I can't say they are a bad gasket but I did manage to have one leak on me, by no fault of the gasket however. I had a wastegate hose melt. The head lifted. The gasket never blew but it did leak after this. Compression was going between cylinders and to 2 of the coolant jackets, but the...

what type of igntion system do you run

I know it is too late now, but I am running DIS-4s on my supra and truck. Getting them to work properly was difficult, I had many issues, but after a month I got them sorted out. The culprit was the stock coils could not handle the voltage output of the MSD. They were arcing off everything...

Well, I found the limit for a stock head gasket.

It was more a detonation problem than a boost problem at that boost level on pump gas. You can't tell if a piston is nuked or not till you pull it out of the motor. It can look flawless ontop while the ringlands are all cracked.

what mk3's inspired you to do your car?

Oh and I forgot to mention my biggest inspiration...John Prescott. Never a forum poster I dont think. I hear he was on some of the very old email lists. I met him at The Meet 2. He gave me a ton of help and to this day things that didn't make sense then are dead on today.

what mk3's inspired you to do your car?

I know Lance, I def got the idea to build the trans kit from him, but I wouldn't call him an inspiration, all he did for me was put me down in the conversations I had with him when I asked for information while I was making my kit. Dave def had his stuff together before a lot of people...
