You can use a mk4 ps pressure hose. Return is just 3/8ths oil hose. Nothing special. You use the dm oil pressure hose for that.

Yes a leak and lose of coolant would cause your car to overheat. Also running straight water will cause the water to boil and evaporate. You really should use coolant.

Te saorer use a electric speedo and dm sells the part for r154 where the speedo cable goes. Should be able to use that and just wire it up.

Dry it off. Lube the outside with some wd and push it on. Should be tight to go on. Make sure there isn't a groove on the cam either.
